There will be a one day delay in collection services for the remainder of the week for the following scheduled holidays in 2025:

  • New Years Day 2025 - Wednesday, January 1, 2025
  • Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2025 - Monday, January 20, 2025
  • Memorial Day 2025 - Monday, May 26, 2025
  • Thanksgiving Day 2025 - Thursday, November 27, 2025
  • Christmas Day 2025 - Thursday, December 25, 2025

Yard Waste Collection Guidelines

 

  • Place your yard waste curbside for collection by 7 AM on your scheduled collection day (same day as your garbage collection day).


  • Leaves and grass clippings, along with small piles of limbs and twigs, must be containerized in brown paper lawn & leaf bags or personal reusable yard waste containers weighing no more than 40 pounds per bag or

 

  • Place your yard waste curbside for collection by 7 AM on your scheduled collection day (same day as your garbage collection day).


  • Leaves and grass clippings, along with small piles of limbs and twigs, must be containerized in brown paper lawn & leaf bags or personal reusable yard waste containers weighing no more than 40 pounds per bag or container.  Loose leaves or pine needles set out in piles or on tarps cannot be collected.

  • Larger branches may be set out curbside in manageably-sized piles for hand collection. Branches set out for collection can be no longer than 5 feet in length, no larger than 8 inches in diameter, and weigh no more than 40 pounds per piece.
